Brock Commons Tallwood House

The Brock Commons is a resident hall for a Canadian university. Its structure is made of wood and is casually known as the "plyscraper." It uses a technology counter-intuitive to the characteristics of a skyscraper, as now engineers look for other challenges than height to innovate the building type. An even taller wooden skyscraper has been designed to be built in 2041 in Japan. See this link:
