Empire State Building

The Empire State Building stood at a height of 1,250 feet tall and was a symbol of the power of a politician. The building was a product of Al Smith's wealth and stubbornness. He decided to build the tallest tower in New York and claimed he would do so before he had design or even an architect to back it up. Shreve, Lamb, & Harmon accepted the job and pushed their building to great heights where it was the tallest in the world until 1970.
